FIELD: thermal cutting of metals, namely apparatuses for oxygen cutting.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes cutter at least with one duct for combustible mixture; inner jet with central profiled duct for cutting oxygen having inlet and outlet portions of said duct and transition portion between them; ultrasound irradiator arranged concentrically to inner jet. Ultrasound irradiator is in the form of annular recess on surface of annular dent provided on wall of central profiled duct of inner jet. Said dent has acute edge directed to side of inlet portion of central profiled duct. Surface of annular recess forms transition portion between inlet and outlet portions of central profiled duct.
EFFECT: increased rate and improved quality of metal cutting, lowered consumption of working gases, reduced deformation of cut parts.
