FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: process for recovery of vanadium-containing slags and lime, comprising batching vanadium-containing slag and lime, grinding, oxidative roasting, weak acid leaching of cinder at pH of 2.8-43.0, acid recovery of vanadium and hydrolytic precipitation of vanadium from solutions. Batching is carried out with total CaO/Y2O5 ratio maintained at 0.46-1.0 in the blend. EFFECT: greater efficiency of the recovery process. 3 tbl
