FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to recovering vanadium from slags involving lime-sulfuric acid technique. Low-acidic leaching is performed stepwise: in the first step, leaching is conducted from acidic post-recovering vanadium to pH 3.2-4.4 adjusting pH, if necessary, with sulfuric acid; second step is conducted at pH 3.0-3.8; third step at pH 2.6-3.4; and process is terminated in fourth-seventh steps at pH 2.1-2.5. Etching temperature is maintained within the range 22 to 58 C. EFFECT: optimized parameters of process. 3 tbl
