ELECTROOPTICAL DEVICE FOR ADJUSTMENT OF OPTICAL RADIATION INTENSITY Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

Abstract RU 2106666 C1

FIELD: optical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has comparison unit, control unit and N waveguide channels positioned on plate made of lithium niobate. Control electrodes are applied on opposite edges of waveguide channels. Inputs of first and second waveguide channels serve as second input for delivery of optical radiation with uniform distribution of intensity at input. First input for delivery of optical radiation is combined with first input of comparison unit. Device may have optical radiation attenuator optically connected to second and first inputs for delivery of optical radiation. EFFECT: more effective adjustment of radiation intensity. 3 cl, 6 dwg
