PAPER SHEET COUNTER Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: equipment for banks and trading. SUBSTANCE: device has housing, pile holder, cam, catching roller, cantilever with friction member and regulation screw, guiding rollers, system which arranges sheets in pile, photodetector and electric motor. Cantilever is mounted on shaft for rotation. Friction member is designed as two friction rollers which are stationary mounted in cantilever. Line which is drawn rotation axis of rollers to rotation axis of catching roller is perpendicular to inclined plane of pile holder. Brace with driven roller is mounted between friction rollers on the same shaft as cantilever for rotation about this axis. Device provides automatic regulation of space between friction rollers and catching roller when thickness of paper sheets alters. Space between moving sheets is kept without accelerating rollers. Lowermost sheet in pile enters into transmission track in optimal conditions. EFFECT: increased reliability, facilitated use, decreased power consumption. 3 cl, 4 dwg
