FIELD: bank and shop equipment. SUBSTANCE: interactive interface to control sorting out parameters through display and keyboard is placed in control unit. Control of parameters of magnetic mark detector position, span of guides in pile holder, piler rotational speed and control of clearance between surface of rings of separating unit and surface of belts of feed way is done automatically and depends on size of banknote placed into device. Feed unit of item-by-item delivery of banknotes fro pile has independent drive with automatic control of speed depending on size of banknote placed into device. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities of device, possibility of revealing counterfeit bank notes, simplified design at increased speed of sorting out and counting and high quality of sorting out and counting of banknotes, irrespective of value and type of currency, without introduction of modifications into design of device. 5 cl, 9 dwg
