FIELD: medicine, surgery. SUBSTANCE: a minor curvature is mobilized by leaving 3-5 cm against pylorus. Posterior antral branches of a vagus nerve are kept by isolating and crossing vessels together with accompanying nerves right near gastric wall. Step by step mobilization is conducted up to cardiac department. Gastric wound is fastened in longitudinal direction. A part of a greater omentum is applied upon sutures followed by its fixation to gastric wall with clamps made of titanium nickelide. Clamps are fastened by separate sutures to posterior surface of abdominal cavity and the rest part of a smaller omentum. EFFECT: decreased traumaticity of operation, higher efficiency to provide prophylaxis of gastric atonia.
