COMPLEX FOR CHECKING AUTOMOBILE IN MOTION Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: transport; automobiles. SUBSTANCE: proposed method differs from existing ones in the fact that checking is carried out automatically by reading the information without services of traffic policeman on point-duty which improves efficiency of prevention of criminal activity on the road. Proposed complex has readout device whose reading elements are located at both sides of road before traffic police station, and plate with information concerning the automobile is installed on automobile roof. Complex includes computing part containing in its storage the information on hinge-jacked automobiles. By comparing the information in storage with that on roof plate, high-jacked automobile can be easily detected. EFFECT: improved efficiency. 4 cl, 6 dwg
