FIELD: railway transport; braking device with power action onto movable object. SUBSTANCE: controlled braking device is made in form of turnable plate installed for turning from horizontal position into vertical position perpendicular to direction of movement of movable object. Special device is provided for introduction of one or more substances for raising average flow density, for instance, water, into on-coming mass of air flow. Device for introduction of additional substances is made in form of sprayer and source of gas under pressure which is connected with chamber filled with water. EFFECT: elimination of influence of weather, condition of track and contact members onto braking process, elimination of influence of degree of train loading on braking, reduced braking distance. 3 dwg
