FIELD: railway transport; brake systems of tank cars used in international carriage in which brake system is to be adapted to two different pressures. SUBSTANCE: pneumatic portions of brake systems are provided each with one air distributor with auxiliary air reservoirs. Air distributors of both brake systems can be disconnected from air mains, and their auxiliary air reservoirs can be connected in turn with brake cylinder by means of three-way valve. Tie-rods are provided in mechanical portion of brake systems between horizontal equalizers. Tie-rods are connected to alternative hinge points. Tie-rods serve to adapt brake leverage to corresponding brake system. Hinge connection of main brake tie-rod to points of brake arrangements on car bogies located in different positions in length and height for normal and wide gauge is provided by means of movable members on both parts of main brake tie-rod.
