RAILWAY VEHICLE BRAKE SYSTEM Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: railway transport; railway rolling stock used on different gauge tracks with change of bogies to suit different gauge tracks. SUBSTANCE: brake system has air distributor with three-and two-pressure members, brake cylinder, stand-by reservoir, two load automatic performance systems with load pickups and relays ( relay of first automatic performance system is arranged in three-pressure member and is not depicted in the Drawing), second automatic performance system, selector switch. Air distributor is connected to brake main line. Selector switch has housing, valves and spaces. Selector switch is provided with pneumatic drive and valve unit. EFFECT: simplified design of brake system, prevention of violation of brake system when changing over air ducts, provision of automatic change-over of load automatic performance system when changing the bogies. 2 cl, 2 dwg
