FIELD: methods of structural chemistry. SUBSTANCE: enantiomers are isolated by countercurrent extraction involving at least two liquids with unlike chirality, liquids completely mixing with one another and being separated from each other by a phase with which they do not mix. Such phase can be introduced into a solid carrier that may be porous or non-porous and should be preferably in the form of hollow fibers. Liquids with unlike chirality may be optically active because of their nature or their chirality may be due to chiral auxiliary means added to at least one of extracting liquids. EFFECT: simplified enantiomers' isolation procedure.
