FIELD: coke industry. SUBSTANCE: aspiration of graphite-removal gases is effected through graphite-removal hatchways (ventipanes). Graphite-removal gases leaving coking chamber are burned in two successive steps: first, prior to be fed into manifold, gases are burned to 1-4 vol % of residual content of combustible components and then, after manifold, to 0.2-0.8 vol % of these components.
