FIELD: trapping of degraphitization gases and effluents from pitch-coke oven doors; may be used in by-product coke industry. SUBSTANCE: method is realized by air suction for degraphitization during discharge of pitch coke from door apertures through air hatches with closed riser and maintaining before discharge, and during and after coke discharge, specific amount of flow rate degraphitization gases directed to header is equal to 2-2.5 ncu. m/s and ratio of volume of these gases to volume of effluents trapped at the doors equalling 1:(2.5-3.5).
