FIELD: separation of combustible components from air. SUBSTANCE: vortex tube consists of two separate coaxial parts. Joint of tube is located in way of flow after flow swirler mounted on inlet section of tube. Circular chamber embracing the joint is provided on the tube outside. End walls of chamber are tightly connected with tube for motion of one part of vortex tube relative to its other part. Circular clearance thus formed is used for escape of boundary peripheral flow of separated medium into circular chamber. Medium discharge pipeline is provided with adjusting shut-off device. End of vortex tube on side of outlet of flow from tube is provided with sharp edge. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 87 cl, 47 dwg
