FIELD: checking of quality of mixing of different-temperature media; steam-turbine installations. SUBSTANCE: removable nozzle is positioned in chamber wall. Part of tie-rod which represents vortex tube with at least one vortex generator of flow is introduced inside chamber through hole in other wall. Gas flow scanning in selected section in performed under conditions at which gas particles are separated by density behind vortex generator output section in direction of vortex flow zone located close to axis or to its peripheral zone. Method is realized by means of thermocouples positioned along vortex tube length downstream from vortex generator. One part of thermocouples measures vortex flow temperature at internal surface of tube and other part, in its axial zone.
