HEAT- AND MASS-TRANSFER APPARATUS Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: equipment for the processes of heat- and mass-transfer in liquid-liquid and liquid-solid systems in chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food and other industries. SUBSTANCE: the offered apparatus includes body, filtering devices detachably secured to the body, cover, inlets and outlets of components, bottom, shaft with agitators, and auger for removal of solid component. Apparatus is additionally provided with petal radiator, horizontal shafts with agitators and ventilation collectors. Petal radiator is located along the apparatus axis and connected with cavity of heat jacket mounted on the body whose internal walls have uniformly located flat segments. Shafts with agitators are located round petal radiator and parallel in pairs. Ventilation collectors having jacket are mounted along longitudinal through recesses made in cover, whose inner side has sprayer which simultaneously serves as rest for upper filtering device. Bottom is profiled and double. Upper bottom simultaneously serves as lower filtering device with auger located along its axis. EFFECT: provision of universal apparatus for conduction of a wide range of mass- transfer processes, such as filtering , washing, extraction, substitution and drying, accompanied by liberation or absorption of heat. 2 dwg
