FIELD: mechanical engineering, in friction items operating under the action of considerable torques. SUBSTANCE: friction lining is made of porous polymeric friction composite with a common strength anisotropy to breaking loads; indicatrix of anisotropy is selected to be adequate to the vector of gradient of breaking forces in the process of service of friction lining. EFFECT: enhanced allowable angular velocities due to the increase of lining resistance to centrifugal loads, with the porous structure remaining unchanged.
