FIELD: agriculture and other branches of industry, in particular, cultivation of plants and mushrooms and transportation of bulk materials. SUBSTANCE: vessel has rectangular casing and flat bottom inserted into casing through slit-type opening in one side. Grid inserted into casing is made from vertical plates joined to define cells, through which roots may penetrate. When bottom is withdrawn from casing, grid plates are spontaneously disconnected. When vessel is to be enlarged, bottom 2 is strengthened by means of linear thickened portions 32 and 33 positioned at bottom side. Plates of grid are provided with triangular slots allowing moisture to be uniformly distributed between substrate in isolated cells. Plates have separate vertical grooves alternatively embossed in both directions or continuous corrugated surface, separate closed vertical pipes with triangular slots in bottom, as well as vertical drain cavities defined by adjacent joined plates, providing improved substrate aeration. Safety gap between stacked vessels is regulated by means of vessel poles-handles, which may be adjusted in vertical plane. Volume of cultivation cavity of vessel may be increased by joining box-shaped heads to casing top. Vessel casings are provided with corner loops, which may be bound by clips to strengthen vessel stack. To increase strength of vessel casings, which were weakened by slots 3, casing is further provided with horizontal thickened portions 4 and vertical angular thickened portions disposed at outer surface of sides 1. Vessel stack strengthening device has four bound metal plates. Poles of adjacent vessels are inserted into plate slots and device is closed by connecting member.
