FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is an apparatus which can be in form of a fuel container, a fuel rack, etc, in which hexagonal storage tubes are used not only for inner cells, but are also strategically structured to form resultant cells with outer surfaces. In another feature, the invention is an apparatus having flux trapping surrounding each cell, where the size of the flux trapping falls with distance from the centre of the storage grid.
EFFECT: invention enables to form simple and safe fuel racks and containers.
