FIELD: packing. SUBSTANCE: device for making obliquely pleated tape has pair of toothed rolls arranged in parallel with relative engagement. Tape of foil type material is fed at angle to shaft axes and rolls form zigzag folds on tape. According to invention, teeth are parts of movable tie-rods moving axially in slots of roll housing. Tie-rod guides are made so that, owing to positive displacement of slides, tape is transported during machining along trajectory motionless in space.
