FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this relates to construction components used in building of wooden-log houses, internal walls and floors with application of tongue cants. Construction component has plastic core which is limited at two sides by oppositely lying layers of strong material. Aforesaid layers are provided with lateral ridges and slots which allow for connecting installed construction components together. Strength and reliability of connection are achieved due to presence in construction components of lengthened belt with downward protruding flange ensuring catching action in cooperation with slot.
