FIELD: earth digging machinery and equipment. SUBSTANCE: this relates to device involved in replacement in field conditions of cutting member of earth hole-digger, and in replacement in field conditions of drilling heads and/or reaming bits used for taking ground samples. Segment of cutting facility for installing in earth hole-digger is one of number of separate and identical segments which in combination create cutting facility. Segment has cutting face which penetrates into ground and cuts it when placed in cutting position in hole-digger. Segment incorporates tail-piece extending from cutting face. One end of tail-piece is turned towards inner circular wall of hole-digger for resting on it in cutting position. It has subsequent surfaces which are configured and located relative to each other so as to ensure sliding of segment relative to hole-digger in cutting position at lifting of hole-digger or lowering it to bottom of hole being drilled.
