FIELD: thermal engineering. SUBSTANCE: precipitator has series-connected power transformer, rectifier, and corona-forming electrode of precipitator whose opposite electrode is grounded, as well as pulse voltage generator connected in parallel to precipitator and built up of odd number of series-connected capacitors, first group of charging inductance coils each connected in series with respective diode of first group, and second group of charging inductance coils each connected in series with respective diode of second group of assembly of lightning arrestors whose outputs are connected through inductance coils of assembly in parallel to every second capacitor of first group, second group of capacitors each being shorted out by respective resistor of assembly and connected to power inputs of respective controlled lightning arrestors of assembly and to respective charging inductance coils of group of starting unit connected to control electrodes of assembly lightning arrestors through secondary windings of group of pulse transformer and phase shifter whose output is connected to input of starting unit and input, to primary winding of power transformer. EFFECT: improved design.
