FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves single-side laminectomy at the level of stenosis. Double-sided laminectomy is carried out when indicated. Arch(es) is/are sawn to produce notch of wedge-like cross-section turned outside with its base and towards the intracanal cortical bone with its apex. Implant(s) is/are built in with its/their lower edge into epidural space. Its/their size is greater than vertebral arch defect size by 3 mm and transverse size of the arch by 5 mm. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in treating vertebral column injuries.
