FIELD: cleaning of synthetic sorbents, for instance, in water treatment. SUBSTANCE: method provides for treatment of aqueous suspension of sorbent in acoustic field of low-frequency sound oscillations with subsequent purification of flow of aqueous suspension in ultrasonic field. The plant for embodiment of the offered method has two successively connected chambers: pretreatment chamber in acoustic field produced by hydrodynamic radiators and chamber for treatment in ultrasonic field produced by magnetostrictive converters connected to oscillator.
