FIELD: microbiological analysis. SUBSTANCE: testing device is a plate containing a great number of cells. The cell capacity is within 0.1 to 20 microlitres and the diameter is within 1.0 to 4.0 mm. The cells are separated from one another by solid partitions and made of material capable of sorbing the biochemical molecules. At realization of the method the plate with cells is used by known methods of microbiological analysis. The PEPSCAN or ELISA method is preferable. The metering device is made in the form of a plate with lugs for simultaneous movement of all lugs to the cells of the testing device. Reagent interacting with biochemical molecules in cells is placed on the lugs. EFFECT: improved design. 25 cl, 11 dwg
