SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to diagnostics in veterinary science, particularly to a test for detecting anti-CSFV antibodies. Disclosed is a method for detecting antibodies against classical swine fever virus (CSFV) of a wild type in a test sample, where said sample can also contain antibodies against mutant epitope TAVSPTTLR from CSFV E2, wherein the method includes a step of combined incubation of said test sample with an immobilized carrier, which comprises an epitope TAVSPTTLR from CSFV E2 and with a carrier which contains a mutant TAVSPTTLR epitope from CSFV E2. Also disclosed are use of a carrier which contains a mutant epitope TAVSPTTLR from CSFV E2, for combined incubation in said method, a kit for carrying out said method, method of differentiation between animals infected with wild-type CSFV and animals, which have been vaccinated against CSFV, as well as a method for controlling infection of wild-type CSFV in pig animal population.

EFFECT: group of inventions enables to prevent false-negative results when detecting anti-CSFV antibodies.
