FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: composition has the following components, wt. -%: N,N'-dichloro-N,N'-di-(3-chloro-4-hydroxy-1,3,5-triazi- -ne-6-yl)-1,2-ethylenediamine sodium salt 10-15; sodium phosphate or pyrophosphate 23-25; sodium tetraborate 8-10; sodium alkylbenzenesulfonate containing 12-18 carbon atoms in alkyl 2-4; and sodium sulfate, the balance up to 100. Cotton material is bleached at 80 C. Properties of material after whitening: whiteness degree is 83%, specific viscosity of cellulose copper-ammonium solution after 10 washings of material is 0.96-1.10.
