FIELD: environment control technology. SUBSTANCE: this relates to protection of soil and water from contamination with oil and its products with the help of microorganisms. According to method, introduced into contaminated medium is water suspension of biocompound containing oil-oxidizing microorganisms. Biocompound is made in concentration of 0.5-10.0 g/l with titer value of 1•108 - 1•1012 kl/ml. Then, oil oxidizing microorganisms are activated by bubbling of biocompound water suspension with air at flow rate of 3-5 m3 per 1 m3 of suspension during 1.5-2.5 h. Method allows for substantial reduction of period for adaptation of microorganisms at sharp change in conditions of their vital functions, and this reduces time required for cleaning soil and water from oil and its products. EFFECT: high efficiency.
