FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves determining biochemical properties of tears that are characteristic of traumatic uveitis. Antioxidizing enzymes activity of superoxide dismutase and catalase is measured and coefficient of is calculated from their relationship. The value of K is used for diagnosing disease or physiologically normal eye state. K being greater than 10, traumatic uveitis is diagnosed. K<10, absence of the disease is considered to be diagnosed. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy and reliability of early stage diagnosis. 2 cl
