FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves examining catalase, lactate dehydrogenase, diene conjugates activity in lacrimal fluid. Catalase activity being less than 2.6 ± 0.36 mccat/ml, lactate dehydrogenase activity being greater than 42.7 ± 2.5 mcmole/ml, and diene-conjugate/catalase coefficient being greater than 0.14-0.15, posttraumatic uveitis transformation into chronic form is to be predicted. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of prediction; duly administered treatment; prevented complications.
