FIELD: vitrification methods for recovery of radioactive wastes. SUBSTANCE: wastes are treated in pot placed in net casing, Space between pt and casing walls is filled with low-gas contact-heating powder compound. Pot is filled with calcinated wastes mixed with heat base in following proportion, mas. %: radioactive calcinated wastes, 20-35; heat base, -65-80. Heat base has following composition, mas.%: silicocalcium, 20; red lead, 47; vitrifying agent, 33. Burning of heat base and low-gas contact-heating compound is initiated primarily by means of fire conducting cord or by electric discharge. Powder based on aluminium, magnesium, or their alloys is used as contact heating compound. EFFECT: improved physical and chemical properties of vitrified block uniform throughout its entire volume. 5 cl
