FIELD: electrical engineering; thyristor regulators operating into resistive and reactive loads. SUBSTANCE: voltage regulator has thyristor with center-tapped control winding whose leads are connected to phase-shifting circuit, and diodes connected, respectively, through current-limiting resistors to gate electrodes of thyristors; center tap of control winding and midpoint of phase-shifting circuit are connected, respectively, to current-limiting resistors; newly introduced in voltage regulator is AC amplifier built around transistors of different conductivity whose emitters are connected to center tap of control winding of transformer, bases are connected via current-limiting resistor to midpoint of phase-shifting circuit, and collectors, to transformer control winding through light-emitting diodes of optocouplers, current-limiting resistor, and parametric AC voltage stabilizer; output part of optocouplers is inserted in thyristor gate electrode circuit. EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities and provision for proportional dependence between regulator output voltage and angle of turn of phase-shifting circuit control resistor. 2 dwg
