DIGITAL-ANALOG SINE-WAVE OSCILLATOR Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

Abstract RU 2108657 C1

FIELD: radio electronics; sine-wave voltage generators such as heterodynes for frequency changers or as parts of low- frequency synthesizers. SUBSTANCE: oscillator has count one pulse generator 6, four-bit pulse counter 2, combined unit 3 of logic elements in which outputs 1-8 of its eight final elements are connected to anodes of respective diode pairs 4.1-4.8 to form set of eight current switches for eight outputs of functionally weighed current supplies 5.1-5.8, zero shift current supply 5.0 with compensating diode pair 4.0, ballast resistor 6, switch 7, low-frequency filter 8, output bus 9, polarity and character inverter 10, control JK flip- flop 11, 4AND gate 12, and two voltage supplies 13 and 14. EFFECT: extended working frequency range and improved waveform of generated pulses due to eliminating switching noise and reducing relative proportion of quantization and sampling noise. 2 dwg, 1 tbl
