FIELD: metallurgical equipment, particularly, sheet straightening machines. SUBSTANCE: straightening machine for hot rolled sheets and strips includes housing with struts, upper and lower cross pieces mutually joining struts and carrying supporting frameworks, upper and lower drive straightening rolls mutually shifted by half of stroke between them in direction of strip motion. Machine also includes upper and lower supporting rollers mounted respectively between ribs of their cartridges and engaging with straightening rolls, mounting wedges arranged in pairs between each cartridge and respective supporting framework. Apparatus for removing spilled scale is provided. Apparatus is in the form of row of tie rods mounted with possibility of reciprocation lengthwise motion parallel relative to strip motion direction and arranged over all lower supporting rollers between ribs of their cartridges.
