FIELD: sports modelling. SUBSTANCE: double-acting piston engine operating on carbon dioxide has housing 1 accommodating cylindrical output shaft 3 on side surface of which curvilinear guide 7 is made engaging with guide member in form of ball 8 arranged in skirt of piston 4. Output shaft 3 is installed in housing 1 coaxially with cylinder 2 which is provided with guide slot 11 engaging with ball 8 and serving simultaneously as bypass channel with reed valve 13. Waste gas from above-piston space is partially bypassed under piston 4 through valve 13, bypass port 12, bypass port 17 radial hole 10 and axial hole 9, makes piston execute additional work and is discharged through discharge hole 14 into atmosphere.
