FIELD: heat power engineering. SUBSTANCE: this is used in municipal heat production industry, heating and hot-water supply systems of houses and other buildings, and also in other areas of application. Heat exchanger has identical heat exchanging sections 1. Each of them is made in the form of bunch of heat exchanging tubes 3 enclosed in cylindrical shell 2 and supported from deflection by means of partitions. Tubes are secured by their both ends in two tube sheets which are common for all sections 1. Instead of return bends, adjacent sections 1 are connected with collecting chambers 5 of tube medium. Instead of connecting adjacent sections 1 through intertube medium by collecting chamber which is difficult in manufacture, used are collectors 17 having passages 11 of insignificant length, and this cuts amount of metal to be used for manufacture and simplifies production technology. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 dwg
