FIELD: oil refining industry, petrochemical industry and food-processing industry. SUBSTANCE: shell-and-tube heat exchanger includes shell with heat-exchange tube bank and inter-tube medium inlet and outlet branch pipes, collector chamber with tube medium inlet and outlet branch pipes, vertical tube sheets over length of tube bank and longitudinal partitions: one along axis of collector chamber and one along axis of heat-exchanger shell; longitudinal partition rigidly adjoining collector tube sheet which is located in tube bank is made from stack of flexible sheets located symmetrically relative to heat-insulated partition; ends of sheets are bent over generatrix of inner surface of shell; vertical tube partitions are made from hollow cylinders located separately and interconnected in vertical plane by means of plane-parallel plates provided with tabs overlapping cylinder clearances and second collector tube sheet.
