FIELD: transport and agricultural mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method includes measurement of oscillation amplitudes of supports of cardan mechanism rotating input and output links by means of sensors, determination of value and locating of unbalance and installation of correcting mass on rotating links. Prior to measurement, cardan mechanism is placed on respective mobile machine, and its input and output links are coupled with corresponding links of machine kinematic chain. Drive wheels of machine are separated from supporting surface, and measurements are performed in process of operation of engine and entire spatial kinematic chain of machine. Dynamic balancing of cardan mechanism allows taking into account the error of cardan mechanism installation on machine and misalignment of cardan mechanism input and output links, which reduces vibration of frame and floor of mobile machine.
