FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: method includes measurement of shaft bearings vibration velocities, consequent analysis of received initial signal and connection wearing evaluation according to initial signal characteristics. Additionally unbalanced weight is installed on spline coupling of shafts to create disturbance force during measurements. In this process measurement of shaft bearing vibration velocities is performed at maximum possible rotation frequency of driving shaft without load. After the average value of vibration velocity amplitudes have been determined, wear rate of spline coupling is determined using preliminary plotted function of spline coupling wear versus shaft bearing vibration velocities.
EFFECT: accuracy increase and simplification of diagnostics procedure.
