FIELD: safeguard signalling system, applicable for protection of perimeters of configured objects both equipped with entanglement of various types and without entanglements, it can also be used in deployed means of detection for blocking of temporary and local protection lines. SUBSTANCE: the method is based on production of an electromagnetic signal propagation zone along the protected line by placement of a transmission line of this signal along the line and production of a sound signal at the first end of the transmission line. The other end of the transmission line is made unmatched with the line wave impedance, a signal reflected from the other end of the transmission line is discriminated, variants of the signal reflected from the other end of the transmission line are detected at an appearance of a moving target in the electromagnetic signal propagation zone. The device for realization of the method uses a transmission line placed along the protected line, pulse generator, transceiving circuit, band-pass filter, and a threshold actuating circuit, peak detector, whose input is connected to the receiving output of the transceiving circuit, and the output is connected to the band-pass filter input, the other end of the transmission line is made unmatched with the line wave impedance, for instance, is broken. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of detection and expanded field of application due to equalization of sensitivity over the length of the transmission line. 9 cl, 7 dwg
