FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: device for detecting an intruder, comprising a transmitter of the pulsed wideband sounding signal at one end of the blocked line, a receiver of the pulsed wideband signal at the other end of the blocked line, generating an alarm, while changing the received signal level caused by the intruder appearance on the blocked line, wherein the transmitter and the receiver are discreetly located on or under the ground, an insulated wire line is introduced, located between the transmitter and the receiver over the ground along the blocked security line.

EFFECT: increasing the length of the blocked line and, respectively, decreasing the line equipment cost in the device for detecting an intruder with the transmitter and the receiver discreetly located.
