FIELD: extraction of solid deposits from fluid medium by evaporation. SUBSTANCE: substance to be treated, having a consistency of fluid medium, is continuously applied onto the upper surface of the heat-exchange wall in the form of a thin layer. This wall is heated to a temperature sufficient to make water and/or other volatile components contained in the substance quickly evaporate. Dry solid residues are removed as they are formed on the upper surface by scraping of the lateral surface. The heat-exchange wall is heated by steam produced as a result of evaporation. The mentioned steam is mechanically compressed and then brought in contact with the lower surface of the heat-exchange wall so as to condensate on it. Liquid condensate is then removed. This method of extraction is especially cheap since the energy liberated at condensation is used on the other side of the heat-exchange wall at evaporation. Other substances, in particular, mud of pig-breeding firms, may be dried up. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 18 cl, 10 dwg
