FIELD: machining of materials with high-speed water jets, rock crushing. SUBSTANCE: proposed tool is composed of body with jet-forming device and mixing chamber put uniaxially, collimator with adapter joined uniaxially and branch pipe to feed abrasive agent into mixing chamber. Jet-forming device is mounted in body for displacement along its longitudinal axis and at angle towards it. Mixing chamber has separable bushing of various lengths and diameters. Collimator conduit is formed by set of expendable inserts. Bushing and inserts are made from wear-resistant material. Branch pipe to feed abrasive agent is connected with ball joint to mixing chamber and may be equipped with safety valve. Jet-forming device is provided with damper, for example, in the form of plates crossing at tight angle. For provision of optimal mode of operation body of jet-forming device is manufactured in the form of ball surface with groove and sealing member, position of tail part is adjusted by bolts. Usage of invention makes it possible to replace collimator without subsequent centering of jet, to create optimal conditions for injection of abrasive agent into fluid jet, to decrease consumption of abrasive agent, to reduce energy consumption and to enhance productivity.
