SUBSTANCE: the generator body is made with an extension piece and a deflector fastened coaxially with the extension piece. Resonating members in the form of plates or rods are fastened in the body around the deflector in circumference. The axis of the circumference of the resonating members coincides with the axis of the jet- forming extension piece of the deflector. The deflector surface on the side of the jet is made in the form of a hole. The resonating members may be fastened in cantilever or on two sides. The frequency of natural oscillations of the resonating members is tuned to the frequency of natural oscillations of the treated liquid medium in the cavitation region.
