FIELD: cutting.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for obtainment of a high-pressure cutting jet of an abrasive-liquid mixture in underwater operation conditions. A jet-forming head for mobile installations of underwater hydro-abrasive cutting contains a case, a diamond jet-forming nozzle fixed in it with conical input and output channels, and a channel for supply of a hydro-abrasive mixture. In the case, coaxially with the diamond nozzle flush with its output end, a focusing tube is installed with an axial cylindrical output channel with a diameter d, a length of (25-50)d, and an input conical channel at the length of (25-50)d. At the same time, a liner with an axial channel with a diameter of (1.5-2)d is installed in contact with the output conical channel of the diamond nozzle and the input conical channel of the focusing tube. A diameter of a through hole of the diamond nozzle is (0.9-1)d, the total length of the focusing tube is equal to (75-100)d, and the diameter of its output channel, d, is 0.38-0.42 mm.

EFFECT: stabilization of a cutting jet with damping of turbulent perturbances and cavitation phenomena, increase in a solid part of the jet and its capability of penetrating through a water layer.
