FIELD: excavation of mineral resources by underground methods with the aid of powered supports in breakage faces of inclined and deeping seams. SUBSTANCE: device controlling powered support in plane of seam has sections of support with hydraulic props positioned in sequence and base flexible member with tension gear located along sections, adjustable flexible sections of tension gear being coupled to sections of support. Correction hydraulic cylinders are placed between flexible sections of base member and section of support. Length of correction hydraulic cylinder installed in section of support is less than design width of section of support. Base member may be positioned behind first row of hydraulic props of section of support. Working space of support can be protected from base member by clamp attached to section of support.
