DEVICE FOR ERECTION AND SERVICING OF UPPER MEMBERS OF POWERED SUPPORT SECTIONS Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: this is used in powered supports intended for application in development of thick seams when mining minerals by underground method. Device has support section provided with hydraulic posts with several degrees of deck extension, and ladder connected to it. Deck is installed on cylinders of hydraulic posts connected with upper members of support section and is provided with frame. It is secured by its rear side to cylinder of hydraulic post located at gobbing side of support section with possibility for limited turning around longitudinal axis of deck. Cylinders of front hydraulic posts are provided with stops on which front sides of deck are mounted. Stops can be replaced along cylinders of hydraulic posts at changing of deck turning angle. Deck frame is provided with longitudinal guide members located by their flanges against each other, and rollers attached to guide members at work face side. Mounted on rollers is extending platform which at gobbing side has rollers made paired in vertical plane and located between flanges of guide members. Lower roller of extending platform can rest on lower flange of guide member when platform is in extended position. Upper roller can rest against upper flange of guide member when platform is in extended position. Ladder can be made foldable and it is connected with extending platform for possible fixing in idle position along deck bottom. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 6 dwg
