FIELD: creation of high vacuum at high moisture content and contamination of air. SUBSTANCE: device has at least three reservoirs 1, 2 and 3. When device is switched on, pump 5 feeds water to reservoir 1 and upon filling of this reservoir, pump 5 is switches off. Now steam supply unit 8 starts feeding the steam to reservoir 1 which is simultaneously brought in communication with reservoir 2 and water flows to this reservoir. After filling reservoir 1 with steam, heat exchanger 4 is switched on; as a result, steam is condensed and vacuum is formed in reservoir 1; reservoir 1 is connected with object 12 to be evacuated. At this time, reservoir 2 is brought in communication with reservoir 3; steam supply unit 8 feeds steam to reservoir 2 and water flows to reservoir 3. After equalization of pressures in reservoir 1 and in object 12 being evacuated, object 12 is disconnected, reservoir 1 gets connected with reservoir 3 and process is repeated.
